Unlike a strip that shows separate points of light, this tape uses COB (chip-on-board) technology with 576 LEDs per metre for seamless illumination. Built-in control chips allow it to display multiple colours at the same time when used with a compatible Smart controller, rather than one colour across the whole strip. Compatible controllers are sold separately.
