Water Pump for Water Play

Explore how water moves with the Water Pump. Place the bottom of the pump in water, move the knob up and down and watch water spurt from the outlet.

Add it to a water-play activity and invite children to try pumping slowly, then more quickly. Watch what happens to the flow, take turns operating the pump and talk about the changes they notice.
